claimexpenses.com is a clever tool which helps small and medium sized organisations do three things:

It does this by providing a simple and easily used form that captures this information, prompts the user to provide particular details, and sends the information to the organisation’s finance or admin department. It also produces a paper report that can be used in the normal way to claim expenses.

The tool uses software to help identify points of departure and arrival for journeys allowing accurate mileage and related carbon emissions to be calculated. The carbon footprint of different modes of travel is calculated using various carbon calculators to provide accurate and up-to-date figures.

claimexpenses.com is owned by Creative Carbon Scotland, a charity and a partnership of cultural organisations working to help shape a sustainable Scotland. We are testing the tool by making it available free of charge to some of our partners. claimexpenses.com is suitable for all sorts of organisations, not just cultural ones. If you’d like to join the test-panel, you can register interest here.
